Pet in Chat (the "Platform") places the utmost importance on your privacy and the security of your personal data in the pet-parent community services we provide through our mobile application.

1.1. Data Responsibility

Information in your user profile — such as your age, gender, your pets and their species and breed, and the activities you are up for — is shared with other platform users so that pet-parent matching can be performed. In line with our privacy principles, your private messages and your conversations in voice rooms are never sold or shared with third parties or advertisers.

1.2. Device Permissions

While using the app, the following permissions are required on your device:

  • Camera and Gallery: Used so you can upload a profile photo or share images during chat.
  • Microphone: Required so you can talk in voice rooms and send voice messages.
  • Location: Used to accurately detect and list pet parents, veterinarians and lost-pet alerts near you.
  • Notifications: Used to provide instant updates about new matches, messages, and contest invitations.

1.3. Categories of Data We Collect

Depending on how you use the app, we process the following categories of personal data:

  • Account data: email address, phone number, date of birth, name, bio, and profile photo.
  • Location data: approximate latitude/longitude and derived city/country, used for nearby-owner matching.
  • Device data: a hashed device identifier, IP address, application version, and push-notification token.
  • Usage data: in-app activity events, crash reports, and session information, used to keep the service stable and to improve it.

Your private messages and your conversations in voice rooms are never sold or shared with third parties or advertisers.

1.4. Account Deletion and Data Retention

You can deactivate your profile or delete your account entirely at any time from the in-app settings menu. Both self-service account deletion and data deletion are available inside the application. The personal data of deleted accounts is permanently removed from our systems.

1.5. Реклама и сторонние поставщики

Мы не показываем рекламу на нашем сайте (petinchat.com); реклама появляется в приложении Pet in Chat после входа в аккаунт, её показывает Google AdMob на бесплатном уровне, а подписка Plus, Gold или Premium её отключает. При этом скрипт Google AdSense работает на наших веб-страницах, поэтому там могут записываться рекламные файлы cookie Google. Сторонние поставщики, включая Google, используют файлы cookie и мобильные рекламные идентификаторы для показа и измерения рекламы на основе ваших предыдущих посещений этого и других сайтов или приложений. Рекламодатели никогда не получают ваши личные сообщения, разговоры в голосовых комнатах или контактные данные: подбор рекламы основан на данных cookie и идентификаторов, которые собирает Google, а не на содержании ваших бесед. В вебе рекламные файлы cookie устанавливаются только после принятия категории "Маркетинг"; на iOS вы можете дополнительно отказаться от отслеживания приложений.
